✨Everyday Magic✨ – The Heart Behind the Playlist

Once upon a time, in the middle of the laundry piles and school runs, something unexpected began to blossom in our home — a quiet kind of magic. It wasn’t bought or planned. The intention was planted to find the right materials for a bridge that can easily link our hearts, and it became alive. It was spoken.

It began as a fairy language. Yes, really. My daughters — both possibly with ADHD — had a special way of connecting that bypassed the logical, straight-line conversations that often failed us. Instead, we discovered that when we spoke magic, everything softened an d shifted. Fairy letters appeared at the fairy doors, and the girls began to write back. These little notes became safe pockets of truth and trust— where the worries, the overwhelm, the emotional bursts from the school day could be gently released without pressure. There was no judgment in the fairy realm. Just listening ears, true wonder, and love.

The fairy characters began to take shape — one with fiery strength, one with soothing kindness, one with wild giggles, one with quiet stars in her eyes. The girls began to see themselves reflected in these characters. One would always relate more to the brave one who wanted to do it her way. The other would nestle into the calm presence of the soft-hearted one who found the world a bit too loud sometimes. These characters became emotional anchors. In those spirally moments when everything felt too much, I could gently say: “Let’s see what your fairy friend would do...” And just like that, a pause. A breath. A redirection wrapped in story.

Out of this magic grew the Everyday Magic playlist on YouTube. While taking another course in understanding ADHD better, I realised we weren’t alone in needing these stories — gentle, enchanted tales that speak the language of feelings. As a parent, I’ve read books, taken courses previously, researched endlessly how to connect better, how to support emotional regulation and build a bridge between the adult world and the wondrous, whirling world of children. But story? Story does what no manual can. It enters the heart through the side door. That’s what my kids needed and it clicked quickly, that it was what I needed too.

These mindful tales are now a part of our daily rhythm. They help us unwind from the day. They help me remember to pause and breathe. They remind us all that no one is broken. No one needs to fit a mold. Each child — and each adult — shines in their own way. The sparkle doesn’t need to look the same. It just needs to be true.

To me, the most important mission as a parent — and as a human — is to show children that they are already enough. They don’t need to mask who they are. They are learning, just like we adults are still learning. Becoming an adult doesn’t mean we’ve “arrived” and we know it all. It just means we’ve circled the sun a few more times. That pressure to be “done” , having it all figured out at once is something I carried as a child — and I am gently laying it down now. So the stories are not perfect and they were not even meant to be. They just carry a message that was sent to all the hearts that needed them.

There is so much magic in the everydays. (Star Wars fonts is one of them 😛…) In the mess. In the questions. In the bedtime tangles and the snack-stained jumpers. And if we take our actions from the heart — if we allow ourselves to breathe before we speak, and play before we preach — we’re building a world of even more magic around us.

That’s what the intention behind ✨Everyday Magic✨ is. It’s not just a playlist. It’s meant to be a bridge between worlds. It’s a love letter to my daughters. It’s a place where Inner Children are welcome to come out and play again.

And honestly? That sparks joy in my heart like nothing else.🪄

With fairy dust and always with love,
Bee✨
